MerchandiseThe Challenging Task of Branding 'Understanding'
Kenja
Communication has recently redefined its public profile. In common
terminology, it has undergone 're-branding'* and it's worth
understanding why we re-brand things.
In a nutshell, we do it
to clarify who we are. With respect to Kenja, we did it for the benefit
of both the people involved in the training, as well as people who come
into contact with us for the first time. It's an opportunity to further
define ourselves, because 'brands' change and evolve.
Many
launch with an identity that serves the purpose of starting and gaining
a level of recognition in the community. After awhile, when the brand
has become established and is known for certain values, the initial
brand identity may be less relevant.
This was true of Kenja.
A clearer presentation of what Kenja training is, what it is not and what it helps people achieve was needed.
And
so, a brand identity was developed. Something that communicated the
important issue: What Kenja does, not so much what it is.
Kenja Communication. Spiritual understanding in a physical world.

This summarises what is offered to people. It sets
the tone for the kind of interaction a person could expect when they
start the training. It helps people to answer a key question: Am I
physical, seeking spiritual experience or am I spiritual in nature,
coming to terms with the physical?
'Spiritual understanding' is
a universal theme. All native cultures in the world have
interpretations of spirituality, and yet, because Kenja does not align
to any one culture, it is not about religion. There is no dogma and no
belief system. It is about developing a personal understanding of our
spiritual nature and therefore, our relationship with the 'spiritual
universe'*.
'A physical world' relates to our playing field in
this game of life. It bridges the gap between the non-physicality of
spirituality and the many agreed upon responsibilities we have in the
'physical universe'*. Kenja training helps people understand the way
the two work together. About achieving the challenging balance which
leads to a happy and fulfilled life. It therefore plays an important
role in furthering understanding for anyone searching for this balance.
And so the brand of Kenja Communication has been redefined.
Along with a 'brand statement', the core techniques on which the training is built have also been more clearly defined.
Energy Conversion Meditation
is the primary tool used in Kenja to rekindle spiritual understanding.
We have added greater explanation of the concepts behind this ancient
technique and have included a definition of 'spirit' which is
fundamental to the training. We have explained the purpose of the
meditation from the view of what happens to a person during their life
cycle, as they negate from their natural spiritual awareness and
progressively lose the natural detachment they had when they were very
young.
We also separately acknowledge the 'human spirit'. We
explore why the simple childlike viewpoint of the human becomes so
suppressed. We explain the Kenja Klowning
training and how it is designed to free that spirit. This is integral
to personal happiness because a happy human spirit naturally relates
openly and joyfully.
The understanding of ancient wisdoms
at the heart of the training is not unique to Kenja. Co-founders of the
training Ken Dyers and Jan Hamilton continue to acknowledged the many
and varied influences, cultures and teachings that have contributed to
making this work a highly effective and practical modern survival
tool.
Ken says, "Wisdom and understanding should be pushed
forward with every generation. It is a responsibility we have to each
other and to the spiritual universe. If we can understand the wisdom of
the past, and make it our own, we are on track. Then we can stand on
the shoulders of the great people who came before us, and take it
further, ensuring it is communicated in a contemporary and relevant
way.
The dedication of a life to this task is a game of the highest purpose."
That's
why we've been so loud and persistent in espousing the virtues of our
new website; of the newsletter you're reading now - the Kenja Voice; of
the printed material we've published: So that a person on the other
side of the planet who may never have heard of us, can read the website
and gain some valuable insight into who they really are – their
spiritual origins and the fact they are a part of the family of man.
We
have also attempted in this re-branding exercise, to take a
constructive step towards helping as many people on this planet as
possible, by finding common ground for communication, for relating, for
understanding. In a world where misunderstanding and fear divides,
alienates and destroys, we are making a bold, unabashed attempt to
unite on a universally accepted platform: That we are all spiritual in
nature. By accepting this, we acknowledge the similarity that binds all
humanity. We are seeking greater truth in order to survive – we seek
spiritual understanding in a physical world.
Please feel free to
contact us and find out more about the training in person, or pass this
newsletter on to someone else. Who knows – it may just direct them to
an answer they've been looking for.
Definitions:
* Physical Universe – The physical world, consisting of energy and mass with significance.
*
Spiritual Universe – The non-physical realm. In this universe there is
no mass, no wavelength, no energy, therefore no time. There is also no
set position of one's viewpoint through time and space.
