"You can live your life in such a way that you use a basic secret, a little psychic secret about life, to help a lot. And that is; it's very hard to sit down, contemplate your navel and be happy. You can't really make yourself happy. But you can make someone else happy. And when you do this, they make you happy in return. People can only tolerate so much happiness before they consider it's too much – and they start flowing it back to you.

So I look for people's qualities; the honour and nobility they have, no matter what their mind is telling them about themselves. If you practice seeking out the best in people, it doesn't take long before they become aware once again of the qualities that they admired in themselves, and they begin to share those qualities with you.

If I can perceive a person's nobility, they start to see mine. And that applies equally with a man as it does a woman – just the same. It makes no difference, because men and women are spirits, with a body – we are all spiritual in essence. And it's the same with a child. When I look for wisdom, I look to children, because they keep it simple.

The happiness I create in others is what makes me happy."
