Article by Ken DyersMATCHING THE ENERGY OF OTHERS
They decided to get stuck into me because I was giving people independence, you know?
To think for yourselves, to make your own decisions and learn how to match the environment with energy.
Because, I did that with you (points to a man) I’ll show you one thing so I won’t leave you hung up on it. (gets person up to demonstrate)
Put your hand up. Put it against mine. Now imagine that’s our reactive fears, or it might be anger. Do you have any reactive anger?
Yeah.
Just imagine this is your reactive anger and I’m trying to get in communication with you on a human level.
Well that’s the reactive anger. So I match it.
Can you get some reactive anger there?
So I try not and overwhelm you with it and I’m not letting you overwhelm me – because if I do I lose my communication line, don’t I? I’ve got nothing to talk to you anymore.
So I match it – I just match that. So that takes care of the reactive anger, with energy while I communicate to you as a human.
So you’re getting rid of all the anger there, while I communicate as a human.
Very good (applause).
It’s just the use of energy – the creative use of energy.
Everybody can use energy – they don’t actually use it, they call on something else. Some other energy from some other identity. They pull it in - this is the end of Mr Nice guy.
I remember a little kid goes to school, and he gets bullied. Only child. So he’s just started school and some other kids just started bullying him.
His father says, “Don’t let them do that to you. Get in there and you fight – you push them back! You punch them back. I want you to go back tomorrow when you get home from school and tell me what you did to that kid that bullied you.”
So the kid doesn’t know, “I don’t want to hurt anybody’s body. I’ve never been taught to hurt people’s bodies. I don’t know what to do, I can’t hurt him. But Daddy says I’ve got to do something. So I’ll put another psychotic identity there that goes…rrraaagh!”
Ever see something like that? It’s not them fighting. They’ve just pulled in an identity that will go and hurt another body.
I used to teach martial arts. A different kind of martial arts – the energy that will make that bloke stop wanting to hurt me, instead of trying to hurt him, take away he’s desire to hurt me.
And I don’t do it now – I do it in a more subtle way. What I’m doing tonight is a bit more like that.
